This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of data when you use our Website and/or Service and the choices you have associated with that data. We use your data to provide and improve our Website and Service and in the usual course of our business.

What Types of Information Does Wanclouds Collect And For What Purpose?

We collect and store several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Website and Service to you. Information We Obtain From Third Party Sources

Also, we may permit third party ad networks, social media companies, and other third party services to collect information about browsing behavior from visitors to our Website through cookies, social plug-ins, or other tracking technology. We may permit third party online advertising networks to collect information about your use of our Website over time so that they may display ads that may be relevant to your interest in our Service on other websites or services. 

Information Collected via Cookies And Other Technologies

If you browse the Website or register or otherwise submit information to us, we collect the data that your browser transmits to our server, including:

In addition to the data listed above, cookies are stored on your computer when you browse the Website. We use cookies primarily to determine how visitors engage with the Website (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, how frequently you access the Website, the number of visits over time, etc.). Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive or assigned to your web browser that enable us to enhance your experience of the Website. Cookies cannot run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the Website more user-friendly and effective overall.

We may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our Users or other contacts in order to track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. This information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of the Website, the Service and our marketing efforts. We may also collect analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends of the Website and Service. Although we do our best to honor the privacy preferences of our Users, we are not able to respond to Do Not Track signals from your browser at this time, as we believe that there is no consistent industry standard for how to respond to Do Not Track browser settings.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). How Does Wanclouds Use The Data?

Wanclouds Inc. uses the collected data for various purposes:

  • To provide and support the Website and Services.
  • If you have an account with Wanclouds Inc., to send administrative or account related information to you.
  • To post testimonials (with your prior consent).
  • To communicate with you about our events or our partner events.
  • To provide you with marketing and promotional communications (where this is in accordance with your marketing preferences). For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we may send you promotional email offers on behalf of other businesses, or email you about Wanclouds Inc. products and services we think may interest you. Also, we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make our communications with you more interesting and improve our services.   • To prevent, detect, respond and protect against potential or actual claims, liabilities, prohibited behaviour, and criminal activity.
  • To improve the Website — for example, the information we automatically collect can tell us how often users use a particular feature of the Website, and we can use that knowledge to make the Website interesting to as many users as possible. We also use this information for our internal analytics purposes and to improve the quality and relevance of our Website to our visitors.
  • For other business purposes such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our marketing and to enhance, customize and improve our Websites and Services.

In order to use the Service and Support, a User must create an account with us and provide us with his or her name, email address, a password, and in some cases a phone number. We also collect the IP address from which he or she logs into the Service each time, as well as  the host name, IP address, and hardware MAC address for each endpoint on the network of a customer using the Service. We use such information, as well as non-personally identifiable metadata about a customer’s network exclusively for the purpose of providing the Service to our Users.

How Does Wanclouds Share Information?

We neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone. However, we may share your personal information with third parties as described in this section. For further information on your choices regarding your information, see the “Choices About Your Information” section below.

We may share your personal information with:

  • Third-party vendors and other service providers that perform services on our behalf, as needed to carry out their work for us, which may include identifying and serving targeted advertisements, billing, payment processing, or analytics services;
  • Our business partners who offer a service to you jointly with us, or who partner with us to provide the Service to you;
  • Other affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy;
  • Other parties in connection with a strategic transaction, such as a merger, sale of company assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or in the event of a bankruptcy or related or similar proceedings; and
  • Third parties as required by law or subpoena or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement, (b) enforce our Terms of Use or to protect the security or integrity of the Website or Service, and/or (c) exercise our rights or legitimate business interests or those of our business partners, customers, or users.
Anonymized/Aggregated Data

We may anonymize your personal information so that you are not individually identified, and provide that information to our partners. We may also provide aggregate usage information to our partners, who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Website, so that they, too, can provide you with an optimal online experience. However, we never disclose aggregate information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally, as an individual.

Service Providers

We may share your personal information with our third party service providers, who help us to perform tasks on our behalf.  For example, we use service providers to assist with the following: analyzing data, hosting data, engaging technical support, processing payments, delivering content, email distribution and providing customer service. Unless we tell you differently, our service providers do not have any right to use the personal information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

Business Transfer

We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that would be transferred or subject to routine due diligence activities. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.

Voluntary Disclosures by Users

Personal Data may also be disclosed by you through the Sites, on message boards, chat, profile pages and blogs and other services to which you are able to post information and materials. Please do not post any information that you do not want to reveal to the public at large. In such an instance, Wanclouds can not be held responsible.

Profiling and Automated Decision-making

Wanclouds combines data obtained by the methods described on this page to help us determine what products and services might be of interest to you and when you might be ready to make a purchase based on repeated interaction with our Website, emails, and content. Wanclouds marketing and sales personnel are involved in this process and no automated decisions are made that would result in legal effects or similarly significantly affect an individual. 

Legal Requirements

We release Personal Data as we believe necessary and appropriate to law enforcement, tax, fraud prevention, credit risk agencies and other companies and organizations as required under applicable law. Wanclouds Inc. may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Wanclouds Inc.
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
  • To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public

We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with law or court order; enforce or apply our Terms of Use (wanclouds.net/terms) and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Wanclouds Inc., our employees, our users, or others.

How Will Wanclouds Store and Transfer Data?

Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to the transfer of data as necessary to offer our Service. Wanclouds Inc. will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

Storing Data

Your information collected through the Website or Service may be stored and processed in the United States (US) or in any other country in which Wanclouds Inc. or its subsidiaries, affiliates or Service Providers maintain facilities and operations. 

Retention of Data

Wanclouds Inc. will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Wanclouds Inc. will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Transfer of Data

Your data, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers and servers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, primarily to the United States and process it there.

Disclaimer: The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  If we are informed that any data under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Wanclouds Inc. will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Note: Our Standard Contractual Clauses can be provided on request. We have implemented similar appropriate safeguards with our third party service providers and partners and further details can be provided upon request.

 

What Choices Do You Have About Your Information?

If you would like to access, correct, amend, remove or limit the use or disclosure of any Personal Data about you that has been collected and stored by Wanclouds, please notify us via our Contact Us page so that we may consider and respond to your request in accordance with applicable law. If you would like to object to the processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes, please use the mechanisms outlined in Section 9 (“What Choices Do I Have?”). 

For your protection, we only implement requests with respect to the Personal Data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will respond to your request within 30 days. 

 

Please note that we need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such access, change or deletion. 

What Choices Do I Have?

You can always opt not to disclose information. However, if you elect to do so, we will likely be limited in responding to your inquiry or providing services to you. 

You can opt-out of receiving marketing messages from Wanclouds or our Affiliates by unsubscribing through the unsubscribe or opt-out link in an email, or by sending an email to [email protected] We will comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages.

What Rights Do I Have if I Am A California Consumer?  

In addition to the rights set out above, California law also provides for some additional rights for California consumers, which are summarized below. 

Categories of Personal Data: You have the right to obtain a list of the categories of Personal Data collected about you, and other related information such as the source of the Personal Data, categories of Personal Data shared or sold to third parties, and the purpose for such sharing. Wanclouds has provided this information in this Privacy Notice. 

Additional information on exercising your rights: You have the right to exercise the rights listed above free of charge or penalty, but we may limit the number of requests you make or charge reasonable fees as legally permitted.  

You may designate an authorized agent to exercise some of your rights; however, in order to help protect the security of your Personal Data, the authorized agent must follow the same authentication procedures that are required if you exercise your rights without using an agent. Wanclouds will verify requests made through authorized agents to help ensure the safety of your account and to comply with our policies and procedures.

 

Payments

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
